What William Booth was to London and Charles Wesley was to Bristol - Henry Falany is to California. As the din of doom and gloom seems to amass over the horizon of this great state, Pastor Henry's voice is a clear clarion call for its hope and future. The timing of this book is impeccable and will be mortar in the cannons of intercession as the Holy Spirit wages all out war on the powers of darkness. It is a lamp and torch on the front lines! Expecting possibly a dry fact-driven book, I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be a very interesting and informative read. Myself a native Californian, I learned more about California history than I ever knew, thanks to Henry's exhaustive and careful research. I found the spiritual observations and insight in regard to California's place in prophecy to be responsible and thought-provoking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The book you are about to read will probably cause you to repent or rejoice. I found I believe this book is a prophetic word. I believe that the Holy Spirit has truly revealed I pray that as you read “God, Gold & Glory” you will praise the Lord. It is a prophetic word for the hour in which we live. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As Pastor Henry gave me the opportunity of reading the manuscript for his new book, my I spent my early years hearing of the whirlwind activities of the 1860’s in the little one- horse town, which in the gold fever days came within three votes of becoming the county seat for San Diego County. I well remembered that in one year they had 75 killings by six shooter and stabbings and I had walked in the boot hill cemetery to prove it. Now my friend Henry was having me read his fact-filled manuscript depicting not only Perhaps the most interesting thing is that before my own eyes I have seen this rough gem of a man, raised in the marshes of Florida, moving West and spending years traveling down the Colorado River and many other world rivers on a raft, then ending up living in and raising a great family in Mariposa. Here I first met this river-shaped nugget, who when called by God somewhat reluctantly changed course, but eventually said, “Here I am, Lord,” and honored me by allowing me to be one of the ones to lay hands on him during his ordination so many years ago. Now, this sparkling nugget of a man, along with his dear wife Grace, have not only You will be captivated by the stories Henry will unfold for you in his book, “God, Gold & Glory.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Every land and every people need watchmen. Where America and the so-called “free western world” are heading is alarming. While we may look in vain to our politicians, it needs a man of Godly insight to see what lies deep to the moves of men, even to what lies buried in the ground of God’s promises, waiting to be rediscovered and taken hold of. Jesus rescues, and just as God determined to bring Israel through the wilderness to the Promised Land, despite their stubbornness and waywardness, so there is clear evidence that God has invested his intent in California. This has awesome significance for the future for California, for America and potentially for the world. It needs painstaking research to gather together so many facts of history and find in them a History shows that true revival, by the power of the Holy Spirit, can turn a nation. It has ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am honored to place my support, endorsement, encouragement to Henry’s historical and timely book for the state of California. I encourage every Californian to read it from cover to cover as an assignment. This book will encourage you, bless you, and give you accurate historical information that enforces God’s plan for this state, as a state, and then as a catalyst for the nation and even to the nations. God works in his time and it is clear in Henry’s research that there is definitely a timeline established by the King of the Universe over California, and Henry has caught that timeline and labored intently to put it on pages so that thousands can glean, learn and take their place in the army of God for these end times and for the state of California. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If one would think that it takes a colorful pastor with cowboy hat and boots preaching from his horse, as if a modern day “circuit rider,” then Henry Falany would be the perfect instrument for revival. However, we know that is not a requirement for a move of God. Henry Falany has, though, an unmatched passion to see a move of God in his lifetime, and the conviction that he will see it. Passion for revival, intimate knowledge of the person of the Holy Spirit - a friendship developed over many hours of walking and conversing with the Holy Ghost by the creeks and paths in the mountains of California - and an unmovable stance on the Word of God, combined with the will to follow the Spirit wherever He leads, that is a sure path toward revival. His passion for revival and his dedication to the land where God planted them took him into long hours of research and prayer: one looking into what it was, and the other looking into what is coming, leading him under the grace of the Holy Spirit to write this book, which we could say is “dripping fire.” This book is more than encouraging. It inflames the reader with a desire to call fire from heaven to revive the nation and the world.
